It followed a similar design, but had detached hulls and warp nacelles and used programmable matter. It also acted as the tested for the Pathway drive, which worked without dilithium. The ship was designed by Ryan Dening. The producers wanted it to be a tribute to Janeway's ship and to show the links between different eras of Star Trek. The model is part
